do you cook your beans with fat like bacon etc? i never ate beans like that until i moved south. i love them cooked that way

I recommend some instant grits fixed in the microwave with some garlic and chive croutans thrown in the bowl after the grits have cooked. Oh yeah and a half glass of cheap red wine. Uum yumm.

Have you ever tried macaroni and tomatoes. They are great with green beans and cornbread. They are even better if you canned your own tomatoes.

Quackquack that's one one of favorites you're fixing. 3 or 4 cloves of fresh raw garlic,half a raw Vidalia onion or some pickled hot peppers would be good with that.
